We hold regular catalogue exhibitions of Early Australian Watercolours and Drawings, Early Australian Painters, Modern Australian Paintings, Artists Exhibiting in London 1880 - 1940; Australian Women Artists; Australian Prints and an annual Christmas exhibition where everything is priced under $2000.

Since 1998 we have also held regular exhibitions of Post War Realist Artists from St. Petersburg, Ukraine, Crimea and Siberia in conjunction with our good friend John Barkes, London.

Volcano with Blue Lake and Plains 1979 by Shay Docking

Volcanic landscape by this important artist, often featured in exhibitions in Public Galleries in Australia and New Zealand but still little known in her home state. Shay Docking (1928 - 1998) was born in Warrnambool and grew up at Tower Hill. Her views of Tower Hill are in the Warrnambool Gallery collection. This was from her Volcanic Plains Series 1979. It is Pastel and acrylic on paper on board, 76.2 x 97.8 cm, Signed. The Clipper Blue Jacket at Sea 1869 by Hugh Hughes

Pencil and coloured crayon drawing on prepared board 32.5 x 46.3 cm Signed and dated; also titled below the image under the mount. Provenance: Private collection, UK until 2011. The Blue Jacket was an American clipper built in Boston in 1858 and well known for the lavish decoration of the staterooms and saloon. She served in the Liverpool and Australia trades between 1860-1864. The ship was named after The Blue Jackets, a traditional name for sailors in the US and British navies. Hugh Hughes was an Able Seaman aboard the Blue Jacket in 1867.
